| Profile | After retiring from the game as a youngster, Tony was persuaded to turn out for the thirds at the age of 40 when he was spotted in the nets with his two teenage sons.
The Prince was soon picking up wickets for both seconds and thirds, and showed what he could do with the bat when he made his maiden century against South Hetton IIs in 2007. He then followed up with 5 wickets in the same game.
Reports from his former games master confirm that he had a bright future at some time in the past. Just a pity he took a 20 year break from the game.
A fit fortysomething, his two sons could still learn a lot from his performances in the outfield. |
